Description: Emmanuel College, founded in 1919, prepares men and women with the skills to succeed in tomorrow's world and the social conscience to make a difference in that world. An excellent liberal arts and sciences education, shaped by human values, a Catholic heritage, and a strong career development and internship program define the Emmanuel College experience. The city of Boston provides an extended classroom, exciting internships and opportunities for community service. Emmanuel is a founding member of the Colleges of the Fenway consortium, a collaboration of six colleges, providing students with academic and social opportunities, including cross-registration, joint student programs, social activties and use of facilities at the six colleges. A wide variety of academic clubs, honor societies, media organizations, performance groups, and social and special interest organizations are available for student participation. Emmanuel College's intercollegiate athletics include Division III sports for men and women. Women's athletics include basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, cross country and indoor track and field. Men's athletics include basketball, cross country, indoor track and field, soccer and volleyball.
